I feel like I am crawling out of my skin. I went with Karen last night as usual when Randy sleeps. She pulled in downtown for me to throw away some trash. it is just to weird, I did and it was lke a baby taking her first steps. Walking on unfamiliar territory is very scary and I feel as if I am going to fall! I just don't understand. Any thoughts?
Much Love to All

I think it is going to take time for your body to adjust to all the things it has had happened - the eye, the ear, the shunt, the surgeries. That is a lot going on! What does your physical therapist say, what are their expectations. I know it has already been so long but try to not get too discouraged and give yourself some more time.
i remember how weird and hard walking was when i got my first pair of glasses... i can imagine it's something like that times a million... hang in there angie, you'll tough it out. love & hugs & lots of prayers!
hi Angie- it has been too long- you have been in my thoughts and prayers- I thank Sherri for giving me this blog- and I recently got your address from Donna Lillo- I started Home health nursing after many yrs of ER- i know the biggest perk of my job is an appreciation for how fragile life is- I have many wonderful memories of Clark St- and our mothers on their broom sticks! and our little orphan field mouse!!- my email is mickell55lovebug@aol.com I would love to hear from you - Love Ya, Mickell
Hey...I've been driving with just one eye (yes, I'm serious) so I can help you out with driving! Whenever you are ready....just say the word, and we'll hit the highway! (I can hear Liz singing one of her favorite songs..."hit the highway, I'm not going home, I'm gonna drive) :-)
Maybe if you guys have opposite eyes working, you can sit on each other's lap in the driver's seat and make a complete set - I don't see how there could possibly be anything wrong with that plan.... :)
