Just up and getting around to go to the Clinic for my treatment. Looks like it is supposed to be cool with rain. I love the cool we need the rain. I receved a woderful package from Erin, for the 1st day! Thanks so much, and I love the Quillow you made. I hope everyone has a good day and I will touch base with you when I come home.

hey just a quick note to let everyone know, we are one treatment down. Hopefully I will have pictures tomorrow, I had the nurse take some pictures with Robins phone and she did not save them(Boo)

The Actual Day

Welllllllllllll, today is it. I officially begin my treatments today. I really am glad they are getting started. Still not nervous but will feel mech better once I see for myself how the mask feels. I will update you on Radiation 101 when I return.

Well, I am sitting here kinda anticipating tomorrow. It is not that I am afraid, it is just that initial session. I am praying that the mask is something I can handle and that the Lord just gives me that peace that I need to make it through the session laying down on a hard table, totally immobile for 45min.

Wednesday 8-9

Feeling a little better today. The sick feeling in my tummy is gone! I still have some pain in my head, however it might be nerves mending. There comes a point when you have has so many things done, you really don't know how you should feel?
I got to thinking and tomorrow will be my dry run and my 1st treatment, so the appt. will probably be a little longer. Robin is going to take me tomorrow-since we might run into some rush hour traffic and she also offered. Thanks Robin! This whole experience has been difficult for me, example: setting up rides to the clinic and using multiple people. I am a giver and not a taker, and it is just very hard being on this end.
I ahve to pick out a hat with awide brim. They say that I will need to use this up until one year after my Radiation. Not looking forward to that as I am not a hat wearer. As far as my rt. eye is concerned, I tell ya, Iam ready to close it up! My eye spends most of its time being dry and blood red. They will tend to it after my treatments, 6 weeks trusting God for less! Well that is all for now, Much Much Love

Tuesday, August 5th

Hello Everyone-I know that I skipped Monday but I was running errands and doing some cleaning. I then went to Maries for cards which she had invited extra friends over, it was nice and we all had fun.
Today Ruth and I went to Mansfield and I had her bring me home. I am experiencing some really bad pain in my head and kinda of feel sick to my stomache. So I hope to feel better and update you more later!

It was a pretty good day overall. I had some issues with my balance today but nothing I couldn't handle.
I delivered my testimony and song this morning. It went very well, and Pastor Winner said it touched many lives. I was so happy and that it is what it is all about, using my situations to share with others!
