I would personally like to ask my FB friends to attend Easter Service with me! This will only take an hour out of your busy day. It is a fact that Jesus went to the cross to die for our sins, he is why we are! There are no gimmicks, you will not be embaraased, and no one will just show up at your door one day;( We would like to have you there to see what kind of relationship you as an individual can have with God.

Remember This:

No matter what your past has been.

Trust God to understand

And no matter what your problem is,

Just place it in His Hand.

Isaiah 43:18

Toothpaste??

I used this as an example when teaching Childrens Church:

I want you to take this tube of toothpaste and squirt it all out on your plate. (the kids did and had a good time!) Now I want you to put it all back in the tube. ( the kids tried to no avail)Thus are the words that so freely flow out our mouths. When we open our mouths the words positive or negative will squirt out just like the toothpaste (no problem) It becomes a problem when we try to put those ill or harsh words back like putting the paste back in its tube. Our mouths and tongue can be used to encourage one another or can tear someone apart. How many times a day
do we build each other up and how often do we tear someone down? How often do we ask ourselves how are they benefiting from what I am saying?

The Bible Tells Us:

Matt. 12: 36&37

" But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

Eph.4:29

"Do not not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

1 Thess.5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

So I put forth the challenge with me this week to follow his word. Remember once it is out, there is no way to put it back! Who can we encourage this week? Who have I hurt with my words, call and make ammends. Let's use our time building one another up.

A LARGE REMOTE/I AM IN CONTROL!AFTER MY HUSBAND RECEIVED THIS REMOTE I LOOKED AT IT AND THOUGHT"WHAT IF I COULD CONTROL MY LIFE"??

LETS LOOK AT THE REMOTE:
1.THE POWER KEY-I WILL USE THAT TO TURN MYSELF ON/OFF IN THE MORNING AND NIGHT. I WILL CHOOSE WHEN I RISE AND WHEN I SLEEP.

2.SLEEP KEY-WOULD BE USED TO DROWN OUT ALL THE BAD THOUGHTS OF THE DAY.

3.GUIDE/MENU KEY-WOULD ALLOW ME TO PICK AND CHOOSE THE EVENTS I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH THAT DAY.

4.GO BACK KEY-WOULD ALLOW ME TO GO BACK AND RE DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY.

5.MUTE KEY-ALL THE THINGS I DIDNT WANT TO HEAR I COULD JUST BLOCK OUT.

6.CABLE/TV/VCR/DVD/SATKEYS-REPRESENT WHAT IT IS THAT WE LET FEED US.

7.NUMERIC KEYS-IN ANY COMBINATION COULD TAKE US BACK TO A CERTAIN TIME IN OUR LIFE.

8.CH+OR CH- ALLOWS ME TO MOVE TO ANOTHER SCENE IF I DONT LIKE THE ONE I AM IN.

9.VOL+ OR VOL-ALLOWS ME TO ESCALATE AND DE-ESCALATE TOO MY OWN CHOOSING.

10.FORWARD AND REWIND-ALLOWS ME TO FORWARD THROUGH TRYING AND UNCOMFORTABLE TIMES AND ALLOWS ME TO RETURN TO HAPPY PLEASURABLE TIMES.

11.PLAY-ALLOWS ME TO WATCH MY CURRENT LIFE BUT......

12.STOP- IS THERE WHEN APPROACHING SOMETHING I DONT LIKE OR DONT WANT PART OF.

13.PAUSE-THIS KEY I WILL USE WHEN LIFE IS GOOD.

14.CLEAR-THIS KEY IS USED TO CLEAR AWAY WHAT WE HAVE PUT IN.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF OUR LIVES WERE THE REMOTE WE WERE IN CONTROL AND GOD IS THE CLEAR BUTTON??

THATS IT, OUR LIVES ARE THE REMOTE, AND WE ARE IN CONTROL BUT PRAISE THE LORD, WHEN WE ASK HIM TO SERIOUSLY COME INTO OUR HEARTS, HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN HIT THE CLEAR BUTTON AND RID US FROM OUR INPUT OUR SINS!

IT IS THE GOOD AND BAD IN LIFE THAT FORMS US. IT TEACHES US, CHALLENGES US, TEACHES US TO TRUST AND BELIEVE. SO MY QUESTION IS, WHO IS IN CONTROL OF YOUR REMOTE?

What Can We Give??

Who had the nerve to bother my beauty rest??

For those of you who dont know, my 2 boys went to stay with Granny after I had a stroke. I had not seen them since May. As soon as I can get stronger they will come home!!

UNDER ATTACK

OK, I know I can soon type something positive! Right now I feel that our family is being attacked by Satan, and our Faith is being tried. 3 weeks ago my sister Cindy was diagnosed with Graves disease which is a thyroid disorder. 2 weeks ago my sister Robin was told she has Graves disease and a nodule on her thyroid that will need tested. I talked to my sister Margaret tonight and she had an ultrasound on her thyroid, they told her that her thyroid is peppered with nodules and will have to have biopsies. She also suffered a stroke in Aug. My mother no longer talks which they say came from mini strokes. As you knowI am still recovering from my stroke in May. My husband Randy is currently dealing with cancer.
