Finally spring and now the yard work.............

I am posting some pictures of the yard for you out of staters and out of the countriers. Just look at them and be nice. I just dont have much to talk about these days. All of the following pictures are a work in progress. Not a thing is finished!

I can not believe it.....................

Well I wanted to drop a quick line to keep you updated. Sorry there are not any picyures but I will get on that!

First and foremost my fence is finally approved short of parting the Red Sea, and I would have hated to do that!

And I lost 4.8 lbs(yeah) I guess the 3.5 miles a day walking and working in the yard have actually done some good!

I am at -25.8 and 27lbs is my first target they gave me, soooo I guess that means back to hitting the pavement tomorrow. See ya and if someone has not told you today: Someone Loves You!!

The Battle

Well it was weigh-in tonight.

I gained .8 lbs.

That is not what I wanted to see

I have not been off my diet so I hope the numbers are there next week:)

Robin had given me this copy of a devotion from Joel Olstein. It was inspiring and I am not going into it, however it was suggesting that you hang positive scripture all around your house and pictures of you in happy times. Think positive and with Faith. So this is what I did and I am trusting the Lord to work in my life with my weight and my face and my tumor. I am not going to focus on the negatives but the positives.

In the process of looking for pictures I ran across pictures of me after my first surgery at my highest weight! "Oh My" what was Randy thinking?

I am attaching a picture of a picture-298 lbs THE DATE WAS REALLY NOVEMBER 2004

So I joined Weight Watchers in 2-25-08 weighing 270.8 and as of 4-14-08 I weigh 249.8

Total loss of -21lbs

It sounds like I am bragging but I am truly happy I am addressing the issue!

Stormy Weather

Just a quick picture after the tornadic weather had past!

I let the dogs out and thought the moon looked pretty.

The "Project"

Well it is hard to believe, but August of last year this flatbed arrived with this car! I really had my doubts how this thing would ever be up and running.

After a few nice days and Randy having sometime at home, there has been alot of progress made.

I sure will be happy when it is done on the outside, however he always reminds me that it has to be fininshed in the inside and mechanically first.

He now has it running very well (LOUD) dual exhaust. It will be a street rod with a V8 engine. Automatic and yes notta on the power steering.

It will be very nice when it is done- 1966 Ford Ranchero-orange with caramel interior-all new carpet and mats. we are doing it piece by piece as money allows.

you know me and my constant battle with the heat-let me metion there is notta airconditioning!

so maybe by the end of summer we will have alot more done. He will get in and drive it as is.Not me!

Wood Carvings by Schnapps

As many of you know Schnapps has carved 4 holes into my window sill and now he has added the Arm of Ellens Aunts Rocker to his private collection. This piece is call "Ole Naturallle"

Nothing New

I wish I had something new and exciting to share. Guess what? It aint gonna happen.
We did have a couple of nicer days in which I cleaned the garage and worked in the yard. I really can not wait until true spring is here. I think it was because Easter was so early everything seems messed up.

Sad news-I went to get my estimate from Lowes and they were way to expensive, so no fence yet!

Went to Bob Holmes viewing and you wonder how someone can feel so lonely and have so many people there. It was packed from 2-about 9:30.

Here is a funny- I was talking on line to Ash and had already taken my sleeping pill. The next thing I know I woke up at the computer desk and Ash had signed off. The reak kicker is- I dont remember anything after that and when I woke up my bedroom door was shut and the dogs were in my bed!!!!!!! That wont happen again
